Tanya Kirouac

Currently making her life in Toronto, Tanya is originally born in Montréal, Québec. Educated in Applied Arts, Tanya worked as an Art Director and Graphic Designer for over 15 years. After re-aquanting herself with fine arts through classes at the AGO, her passion for painting was re-ignited.

Five years later, she is showing and working at a variety of galleries and exhibitions in and around Ontario and Quebec. Today, Tanya is able to pursue her desire of being a full-time artist. With a studio in Toronto, she now has the space and the time to explore her visions and build upon her dreams. Her work can be seen in her Toronto studio, at many of the festival shows in and around Ontario, Canvas Gallery in Toronto, Covent Garden Fine Art Gallery in Prince Edward County and Galerie Sandra Goldie in Montréal. She joins TREES Gallery in 2007 in collaboration with Covent Garden Fine Art.

Tanya’s work detail landscapes which evoke dreamy feelings and explore apparitions found in our incredible and ever-changing sky and earth. The inspiration for all of this work is encountered in her environment and through her adventures.
